For us, pinball was the pre-digital entertainment of our parents generation but it’s history started much earlier. “Spring launcher” pinball tables were used as far back as the late 1600s/early 1700s. Naturally Pinball has evolved since then becoming more mainstream in the 1860’s and then in the 1930’s becoming coin operated with electronic bumpers and flippers. History eventually crossed paths with modern video gaming consoles and it was a natural marriage of classic timeless fun mixed with cutting edge technology. Continue reading
