This Japan-only released game has an excellent soundtrack and we couldn’t help but share it with you… (plus we are overdue for some more Disk System ear-gasms!)

I don’t know about you guys but “Careful with the Walls” reminded me a little bit of the Space Harrier theme.

Really great stuff as always. Soaring notes and melodies. There was one tune that you guys had mentioned sounded like something else. I thought the second one in that particular block sounded like Mega Man 1, the Cut Man stage I believe. Not sure if that was what you guys had on your mind and you cross referenced it with the first song in that block. Very Contra at times, Gradius at times as well. All in all, another winner, and looking forward to the next episode. Maybe the best of the game.com era? Just kidding.

game.com hahaha! maybe i’ll have to do a track for an expansion pack. :) btw.. i have one of those and a batman game… it was horrible.

we never actually could come to a conclusion on what that sounded like.. but you made good points with all of those games. it kinda sounds like them all at points.. more than once per track too. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the show. The next one should be fun. Again, kinda off the beaten path.. but great music!

I can’t thank you guys enough for this podcast. I had a music breakthrough due to the channel isolation and constant studying of this style of music arrangement. I haven’t mastered it but now I know how to approach it. This episode helped bridge the link and I ended up making this for the #lowrezjame2016 https://skirmish.io/posts/230-fast-food-empire-theme. Thank you so much!

Man Chase, you sure do know how to flatter a podcast :P but seriously we are overjoyed to have been able to help you make a breakthrough! I know how it feels to have the moment of clarity in your work, it feels life altering. So we are humbled to have played a part in that. Congrats! We can’t wait to see what you do with it!
